Afşin-Elbistan B coal fired power plant has fully automated conveyor systems feeding power plant with coal and transferring waste -ash out.
Coal and ash conveyors have 4500t/h coal and 1500t/h ash carrying capacity. Coal conveyors are 4918m and ash conveyors are 2572m length of a total 7490m conveyor system Conveyor systems have 5.5MW total installed power.
